While attending the Monoconnection-Meeting at Ossenzijl Lambert Smit took us to the start of this particular rallye. On a bright sunny Sunday onehundert pre-war motorcycles and mopeds turned up at the start in Boijl. Scores of vintage bikes I've never heard or seen before. An amazing turnout! Noise and carbon dioxide were happily ignored for the day. Most of the machines are in splendid condition. There was only one unrestored motorcycle, a BMW from the 1920s. To have it on the road after all these years is an achievement in itself. |
