	This is the 11th MonoConnection Meeting which evolved from the former SRXConnection. Altogether this is the 26th Meeting of the Dutch Single community. The first meeting took place in 1990 on the De Bregman's camping site at Schoorl.

	Steve Dalby: So glad to have him back at the meeting! Originally a tool maker from Wales he's been building luxury bathrooms and kitchens for decades. He's proud of his work and intends to go on after retirement. I wish him many more rotten bathrooms to refurbish and many more miles on his trusty XT660.

	After realizing this summer that the Monoconnection Forum is in a deep coma, I had my doubts about the upcoming meeting. And so it turned out. I missed many familiar faces. Gone are the days when we filled the restaurant at De Bregman's Camping in Schoorl or when we had to split up the group for the ride-out.Some new blood is desperately needed or the meeting is falling into a coma too. It's almost inevitable that bike meetings turn into trailer and motorhome meetings over the years. We're growing lazier and fatter with age, losing the spirit and esprit de corps. It tells me a lot, seeing riders stretching their limbs after just 60 miles on the ride-out. Anyway, I enjoyed the meeting as ever, but it may have been my last. My sincere thanks to the organizers: Bert, Koos, Lambert and Sjak. Zuipkaart for beers
