Wolvega Brommers

My Dutch friend Lambert Smit from Wolvega/NL sent me the following emails:

Hi Robert and Sjak,
Here some pictures of this afternoons racing in Wolvega. It really was walking distance from my house to the racetrack! There were some really nice bikes, I really enjoyed the big NSU bikes and the howling of the Italian bikes!
More pictures will come soon, after they've been rescaled. As you can see they are rather large in size!

Regards Lambert

Re: brommers in wolvega zondag
Well my friend, as you know I live close to the industrial part of Wolvega, where there are new roads without speedbumps. Impressive bikes and good fun! There were a lot of 50 cc's, 125's, 250's, 350's, 500's and clasics. Even Wil Hartog, a famous racer in the seventies was present.
I'll send you some more pictures this week! Lambert

Hi Lambert
Thanks! Great stuff! Race track at walking distance? Canőt imagine anything like that. Were there no speed bumps in the streets?

Regards Robert
