From this year's invitation leaflet: Friday sees the arrival of the majority of rallyists and we will have an enjoyable evening, discussing our rides to the rally and adventures enroute. On Saturday morning we will set off for the rideouts of the day. Departure is typically around 10.30 am. It turned out to be all of the above. And I met new and old friends like a number of Steves, Graham, Simon, Boyd, John Beeman and his intrepid daughter Charlotte, the bearded Saturno rider whose name I didn't get, the Keelings who carried away two special awards, one for 'Best Bike' and one for 'Best Poem'! 'Longest Distance Travelled' was bestowed on a happy Swiss ... |
